KYB8 Exegesis and Polemics

This course equips students with advanced skills in biblical exegesis and explores the art of biblical polemics—the reasoned defense of theological interpretations and doctrines based on scripture. Students will develop techniques for interpreting biblical texts accurately, including contextual, historical, linguistic, and theological analysis. Additionally, the course will address how to construct and articulate well-founded arguments in response to common objections and misconceptions about biblical teachings. Through rigorous study and practice, students will learn to engage in thoughtful, respectful discourse that upholds the integrity of the biblical message.
