Meet Our Trustees
At King’s Evangelical Divinity School, our trustees are united by a shared vision: to advance ministry, mission, and theological education through innovative and entrepreneurial approaches. With diverse backgrounds in church leadership, academia, and industry, they bring a wealth of experience and insight to the governance of KEDS. Together, they help ensure the school remains biblically grounded, academically robust, and strategically positioned to equip Christian leaders for a changing world. You can contact them at trustees@kingsdivinity.org
Gary Edwards (Chair)
Gary Edwards has served as a pastor in Wolverhampton for over 20 years. He is married, with two children and six grandchildren. A long-time supporter of theological education, Gary studied at the Midlands Bible College in Wolverhampton—now known as KEDS—during its early years in the last century.
Before entering full-time ministry, Gary spent four decades working in the automotive industry as a Paint Chemist and Technical Representative. Now retired, he continues to contribute to the life of the Church and theological education. He has been a dedicated Trustee of KEDS for over eight years.

Dr. Charles Blundell
Charlie Blundell currently serves as an elder of a medium-sized church in Manchester (UK), where he lives with his wife and two children. Over these last 20 years he has pastored and led churches in diverse roles and his passion is for making disciples who know how to make disciples, who know how to read and apply their Bibles well. Charlie has recently retired from a 25-year career in biochemical research, in which his inventions and discoveries led to the founding of a pharmaceutical company. Having been a student on the Bachelors programme, he became a Trustee of KEDS in 2024 to support its important ministry of advancing rigorous Biblical thinking in the church in both national and international contexts.
David Williams

Steve Davies
With a background in design and marketing, as well as experience in full-time ministry, Steve Davies brings both creative and pastoral insight to the role of trustee. He is actively involved in my local church in North Wales and, although not a student of KEDS, Steve is excited by its vision to make theological education accessible and affordable—and passionate about helping to enable that vision.
