This module explores how Christians read Israel in the story of the Bible and in biblical theology. We will look at God’s covenant with Israel, the role of Israel in the Old and New Testaments, and how Christians have understood Israel’s place in God’s plan. Alongside this, we will consider how Jewish and Christian perspectives sometimes differ, and how dialogue can deepen Christian faith and understanding of scripture.
