Dr Larry Helyer, Professor Emeritus of Taylor University, Indiana, and also a tutor at KEDS, has published a new book on the prophet Jeremiah.
The book's title is The Life and Witness of the Prophet Jeremiah and is published by Wipf and Stock. The webpage providing details of the book states:
KEDS principal Dr Calvin Smith will be the main speaker at the forthcoming Christian Friends of Israel's (CFI) UK annual conference in Eastbourne.
The conference, entitled God's Continued Purpose for Israel, is taking place at Victoria Baptist Church, Eastbourne, on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th September. A conference brochure with full details of the event and venue is available for download at the CFI UK website.
Over three sessions Dr Smith will be setting out the biblical theme of Israel across the canonical narrative, with a focus on God's continued plans and purposes for Israel and the Jewish people in the past, present and future.
KEDS has just launched a new website with details about the school and its various courses.
The new site is a total revamp of the previous version and is much more mobile-friendly for a range of devices. Please take a look and view the programmes on offer. We are currently preparing for a new academic year and taking applications for a September start.
All programmes are available online, without any attendance requirements, and range from short courses in Bible and theoliogy through to full Bachelor's and Master's degree courses, with a strong focus on biblical interpretation. These studies offer the flexibility of distance learning and fees are highly competitive.
