Yes. Tuition fees are calculated for the academic year, based on the number of modules a student registers, and then can be paid over three instalments in September, January and April.
Because KEDS, as a distance learning institution, accepts new students throughout the academic year and not just during the autumn, the tuition fee arrangements for students beginning part-way through an academic year tuition differ somewhat during the first year. New students starting after September will be at different stages (e.g. some will have enrolled before Christmas, some after, while some may start even as late as February or March). In such cases, the simplest way of charging fees for Year 1 students starting part-way through a year is for them to pay on a module-by-module basis until the following September, when the yearly registration and instalment arrangements detailed above begin.
