Studying the BTh programme with KEDS has given me the tools to pursue avenues in ministry and academia. The programmes dedication to hermeneutics and exegesis has shaped the way I now approach the text, being aware of my presuppositions, using the methods I have learnt and forming opinions through informed reason. This has brought life into my own personal devotion time and preaching ministry as well as equipped me to produce original material for academic conferences.
On a personal note, I have found the course and its tutors very accommodating and supportive. I have four children, multiple ministries in my local church and a secular job. Being able to study part time, correspondence, at your own pace, was ideal for me but also helped me to discipline myself in the art of sitting and writing.
